About Us
Higherarchy Entertainment was founded in the summer of 2005 by 2 brothers, Hector "BIG HEC" Ramos and Alex "PONE" Ramos, & an associate Victo SIC VIC" Mata. Since then they have endured and overcome setback after setback. Nonetheless, they persevered and continued to push forward, reinventing themselves time after time. Today, with the formation of "NO GIMX" & "LA MANTECA DVD MAGAZINE," they have become a force in New York City's Latin Rap market.
During a casual get together over lunch, Pone (who had been involved in the music business as a producer for over 10 years by this point) informed Big Hec (an actor and model) that he was leaving the music business to focus on feeding his new born son. Furthermore, having been mislead on several occasions, due to a lack of knowledge of the industry's inner workings from a business stand point and lack of legal counsel, he no longer wanted to deal with the shadiness of the music industry.
Big Hec, knowing first hand how much dedication Pone had given his craft since they were kids, suggested they start their own Label.
They met a second time and agreed that Pone would get back in the lab and Big Hec would put the acting and modeling on the back burner to study the business side of the industry.
Higherarchy Entertainment was born.
